Dr. Justin Kappel

Dr. Justin Kappel is an integrative primary care physician based in Atlanta, GA with a focus on helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals by finding the right treatment for the right patient at the right time in their journey.

He completed his medical education at Emory University in Atlanta with a dual M.D and M.P.H program, then moved to Seattle for Family Medicine residency at the University of Washington.

Looking for more treatment options for his patients and a better holistic understanding of health, Dr. Kappel was certified to perform Medical Acupuncture in 2020 and completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2023 through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

By combining the best of data-driven Western approaches with the whole-person insights of traditional health practices, Dr. Kappel helps patients develop a better understanding of their own health in order to tailor a personalized plan best suited to their current situation and future goals. After five years in practice with a traditional primary care clinic, Dr. Kappel is ready to take his blended approach to holistic medicine to work directly for his patients.
